Hindi Poetry - A major factor of Indian Poetry:

India is a country having lots of traditional and cultural values. Indian poetry is a significant one among the various types of poetry all over the world. Indian poetry is blessed with lots of talented poets who can contribute their talents to the poetic world. The main language used in Indian poetry is Hindi and as a result Hindi poetry became very much popular. As India is a country having more than hundreds of languages, it has a wide collection of talented poets from different languages. Indian poetry consisted of poets from different languages like Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Bihari, Assami etc.

Even though Urdu is the national language of Pakistan it is one of the languages in India. Ghazal is a popular form of poetry in India which is basically an Urdu form of poetry. Indian poetry has lots of poets concentrated in Ghazal form of poetry. Ghazal is a typical form of poetry which has a typical rhythm for saying the poetry. Ghazals are largely used in certain sequences in the making of Indian movies. 

Ghazals are good form of poetry and a good form of music too. Urdu Ghazal is the base of Indian form of Ghazals and the main difference between these two are the language used. Urdu Ghazal is written in Urdu language and Indian Ghazal is a revised version of Urdu Ghazal in Hindi language. The main peculiarity of Ghazal form of poetry is its rhythm and all Ghazals are sung in same rhythm.
